Our Team

Erica Nogueira
Erica has worked as an English teacher in Brazil for more than twenty years preparing hundreds of students not only to communicate in the English language in general, but also to take proficiency and scored-based tests. What she really enjoys doing is teaching adults. She strongly believes that adult students learn better when they are in the center of their own learning process and exposed to practical and contextualized content. She has a BA in English and Portuguese, an MBA, and English proficiency certification from Michigan University.

Patrícia Santos
Patricia Santos has been working as a Psychologist and English teacher for more than 20 years. Holding post graduation degrees in both Psychoanalysis from UFRJ and TESOL, she has been invited to lecture at international conferences including IATEFL in the UK.

Ali Alghamdi

Ali is doing a PhD in Applied Linguistics at Newcastle University, UK.

He’s interested in looking at the interaction that takes place in online collaborative English classes. Ali is at the stage of collecting data and is supposed to be collecting video recordings of lessons that take place on Zoom.

He’s hoping members will be willing to participate in his study and help collect these data. (Participants are free to decide whether or not to participate.)

Contact us if you have any questions, requests or concerns regarding Ali’s research.
